RWM Awarded preferred supplier contract
Following an entensive joint tendering exercise by several Government Agencies, RWM has been selected together with other specialist providers to provide a seamless integrated service for the preparation and presentation of evidence.
With trials becoming evermore complex it is obvious that they need to be managed in a structured and orderly manner from beginning to end. There needs to be a carefully thought out and detailed standard procedure for all aspects. As with all ISO standards, all procedures need to be decided upon and detailed clearly without ambiguity. There should never be a need to make spur of the moment decisions.
By involving the "best of breed" from several different areas of expertise, this contract will ensure huge savings in both time and cost to the agencies involved.
RWM are very pleased and proud to have been selected to be a part of this project.

You may have read about the latest data scandal regarding the sale of medical records in India, if you haven‘t click here to read it. To avoid these kind of scandals, RWM does all its Scanning and Data Entry on its own premises using its own staff. RWM do not sub-contract any part of this process. This may be unusual for a UK bureau, but has the following benefits :
- Better Quality
- Strict Adherance to UK Data Laws
- References supplied of Customers that you can talk to and check out.
Possibly the most important thing is that Customers can visit RWM and come to their own conclusions about the quality and reliability of the services on offer. How many people visit India to check out the personnel and premises?
RWM have been involved in a number of projects which were originally processed abroad, and now, because of problems with quality and consistency, have been returned to the UK.

RWM Data Management have carried out a document scanning exercise on behalf of Norton Peskett Solicitors who have sites across Suffolk and Norfolk.
Closed paper legal files have traditionally been stored in warehousing. Now Norton Peskett are scanning the files through their own scanning facility into their corporate Electronic Document & Records Management System (EDRMS). As the volume of temporarily stored files was excessive Norton Peskett sought a company to carry out back file conversion of the excess volume of 250,000 images. RWM have provided an outsourced scanning service to Norton Peskett from collection of files through to supply of images with indexes suitable for import into the company EDRMS.
Richard Stone from Norton Peskett was pleased with the professionalism of the outsourced document scanning service and the ease of data import from the series of CD-ROM discs provided by RWM. Norton Peskett found utilising RWM‘s document scanning service a highly complementary solution to their own in-house scanning facility. Importing TIFF files directly into their EDRMS saved months of back file conversion which would have required extra manpower, extended work time and extra scanning equipment.

Successful completion of a mixed scanning project carried out by RWM for the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) at Thetford.
The BTO required a variety of paper records to be scanned so that images could be imported into their corporate Electronic Document & Records Management System. Records scanned included cards and irregular shaped historical records. Approximately 700,000 records were scanned in batches over a 4 month period. Peter Lack & Jan Toomer from BTO said they were pleased by RWM‘s response to handle the many different formats of records and supply accurate indexed images, whilst managing the integrity of documents received, processed and returned to the BTO.
