RWM have extensive experience of Document Coding/Indexing and employ a team of experienced Touch Typists to key in data that either adds additional Index Fields or transposes handwritten information relevant to the document universe in question.

Depending upon specific requirements and the legibility of printed or handwritten characters, RWM offers a choice of either single or double entry input:

Single Entry

Index fields are entered only once. The index fields may contain a small number of errors due to misinterpretation of data or keystroke errors. However, for many archiving applications, the results are satisfactory and the images are more retrievable because of the additional reference data.

Double Entry

Index fields are input separately by two input operators. A third operator then checks and corrects any mismatched input. This procedure greatly increases accuracy and substantially reduces the incidence of errors. It is particularly suited to the more complex index/coding systems.

All our data entry is carried out in our offices based in the UK, none of your data will be sent abroad for processing. This enables us to control all aspects of the data entry procedure and ensures the security of your data.
