ALPHASCAN TS
 This is RWM‘s original product, designed specifically for investigative processes such as litigation and forensic accounting. Although much developed over the past years, the basic concept remains the same. The storage of legally admissible image files on Compact Disc, which are searched by a combination of full text indexing and document coding.
The Alphascan® TS service includes:
- All necessary preparation of documents prior to scanning and if required, re-assembly of documents to their original condition after scanning.
- Creation of a comprehensive index of file descriptions.
- Exact image of every page, sizes from bus tickets to A0 drawings.
- Optical Character Recognised text for every page.
- Full text index allowing searching for any word or phrase on any page.
- All images/text recorded onto Compact Disc together with Alphascan® TS software to allow access/printing of any page using any modern PC running Microsoft® Windows®.
- Where there are large numbers of documents and there are several compact discs, it is possible to search across these using Alphascan® TS Multidisc, no additional software is required.
The above are standard Alphascan® TS features, in addition RWM can also:
- Paginate every page with a file number and page number.
- Code documents with additional information.
- Supply various parts of the data separately - such as the file descriptions for use in other spreadsheets or databases.
- Combine client‘s data with full text indexing to allow searching.
Alphascan® TS software is produced by RWM and as such can very often be customised to a client‘s individual requirements.

Alphascan® TS introduces User Defined Lists, giving you the following features:
- create filing cabinets and folders to hold documents that are pertinent to your case
- powerful document creation tools to enable you to group pages into documents
- page numbering facility allowing you to quickly electronically paginate documents
- sort lists of documents and images into order, using database fields as your sort criteria
- Enhanced text searching using RWM‘s new ROAR (Rapid OCR text Analysis Results) technology.
- find pages you want quickly using the new text search engine, giving you the option to search for single words, phrases, dates and numbers
- Improved database functionality - multiple entries for one image.
- annotate the pages with your own comments, or code with dates and document types. Databases can be designed to suit your needs with any number of fields containing whatever information you require.
The database has been improved to allow you to have multiple entries for a single image, allowing several people to add comments without having to create a field for each person.
- Enhanced database reporting incorporating a graphical report designer.
- once you have populated your database you may want to produce reports. The new WYSIWYG report designer allows you to quickly build a report using wizards, then fine tune and preview the report on screen.
- Improved OCR
- Alphascan® TS uses three OCR engines to get the best from your documents.
